First material build in Substance Designer after learning it! Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
Used a real life reference, matched procedurally in Substance Designer. PBR workflow.
I would start with creating a graph with the shape designs for the various elements then build the shader of the actual material type from that black and white mask.
